Meet nicola 

My business was born out of a realisation that the office life was not for me, coupled with the renovation of my first house and garden with my now husband, I came to realise my love of flowers, nature and the outdoors. 

 

It was around the time my daughter Jasmine was born that I decided to take the plunge and start up my wedding flowers business. A couple of formal training courses as well as working in the floristry department at a well known hotel gave me the experience to take the leap! 

I love to work locally grown flowers into my wedding designs, not only does it support local small businesses, but brings so much character and charm to my arrangements from a wiggly stem or slightly nibbled leaf! 

 

I’m an early riser and so very happy on the flower run to collect my goodies, or tinkering away with the preparation in my garden studio. 

 

Outside of my business I have a lovely family, 2 girls and a husband, we love the beach especially north devon, camping and paddleboarding. I’m a bit of runner having run many half marathons and just the one Full Marathon! I like to run for charity it helps to justify the aches and pains after a gruelling run! 

 

My guilty pleasure is a catch up of the Aussie Soap ‘Home & Away’
